Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henry County Awarded Funds

In our continued focus to give back to the communities we serve, the Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation is pleased to award Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henry County with a check for $5000 to assist in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of area youth.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henry County provide area children with support and encouragement through adult mentoring programs. By means of a detailed one-to-one match screening process adult mentors are paired with a child in need of mentoring services. The focus of this program is to establish a one-to-one relationship creating a measurable impact on the child which in turn contributes to better schools, brighter futures and stronger communities.

Funds provided by the Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation will help to underwrite the detailed screening and matching process necessary to ensure the safety and success of the one-to-one match program.

The Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation is focused on benefiting the residents within the servicing area of Geneseo Telephone Company, and is proud to be a part of supporting a service that positively impacts the lives of area children.
